Xigua Video boasts a large user base, with over 3.2 million monthly active creators, more than 180 million monthly active users, and over 4 billion daily video views. The average user spends over 100 minutes on the platform each day. On August 21, 2019, Xigua Video held its "Creators' Night" in Shanghai, where 29 annual awards were presented across three categories: short videos, gaming, and live streaming.
In 2020, Xigua Video continued its steady growth, maintaining over 3.2 million monthly active creators and more than 180 million monthly active users, with daily video views exceeding 4 billion and average user time surpassing 100 minutes. In October of the same year, during the "Xigua Video Curiosity Conference," the platform's head, Ren Lifeng, introduced the concept of "mid-length videos." Moving forward, Xigua Video will focus on developing video content that ranges from 1 to 30 minutes and plans to invest 2 billion yuan to support mid-length video creators.
In June 2021, Xigua Video, in collaboration with Douyin and Toutiao, launched the "Mid-Length Video Partner Program" to strongly support mid-length video content creators. By joining this program, creators can earn revenue from all three platforms, further expanding their influence and income streams.
